The time of the year has come, to commemorate the sacrifices of our fathers.
Coincidentally, this is also the 5th seven-days after my dad has left us. According to the Chinese traditions, this particular seven-days prayers would be said by the daughter(s) of the deceased. I was so pleased that I could perform the prayers on this Father's Day.
Although it has been five weeks already, I can remember the events leading up to his passing as vividly as if it only just happened yesterday.
Even my dad is no longer around in person, I know in my heart he can hear me. Thanks Dad for the great lessons you have taught me and for what I have today.
For those of you, do cherish your parents while they are still alive.
