The drama series "Wasabi Mon Amour" ended with Louisa So preparing a dessert. It reminded me of those wonderful dessert outlets in Hong Kong.
Mangoes are widely used in desserts in Hong Kong and 许留山 specializes in just that. Their mango puddings come in many variations, be it with glutinuous rice balls, sago balls, jelly strips, fresh fruits, ice-cream, sorbets, puree etc.
The sorbet is smooth, the mangoes are chunky and aromatic, it is absolutely sensational! Must try but one piece of advice: those outlets along Nathan Road, Causeway Bay are bound to be jam-packed. I found one quiet outlet in the China Ferry Terminal.
